Children's Villa
This is where children's dreams come true.
At the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, they have an entire villa to themselves. All the rooms in the Children's Villa are decorated with enchanting, superbly detailed wall paintings. The lovingly designed interiors put the finishing touches to the overall concept.
A three-storey building with different "worlds" on each floor, surrounded by a garden with a swing, slide and sandpit, offers children of every age group enough space to run around, play and just daydream.
The Ground Floor
The smallest of them, aged between three and six, can have fun with a Mowgli-style adventure in the "jungle" on the ground floor. African furniture and wall paintings of wild animals will trigger off their desire for adventure and in the "Room of Dreams", with its generously sized area for lying beneath the starry skies, children and parents can relax - with a good book, for example.
The First Floor
Rough-and-ready cowboys and fearless Indians between six and twelve years of age will be in their element one floor up at ‘Western City’, complete with numerous log huts for playing in. The Wild West comes alive in the Grand Opera House with a choice of costumes, the saloon and the sheriff's office.
The children can slip down the large tubular slide to get to the garden.
The Attic
The attic will delight the oldest Polar Bears. This is where the unending universe will encourage them to play in the imaginatively designed "Space Shuttle". PlayStations with the latest video games, trendy Captain Kirk seats and a cinema with a three-metre wide screen and relaxing platforms they can lie on will make teenagers’ hearts race. For those who prefer reading, there's a library with the most popular children's books and comfortable reading chairs.
