The Societät Rostock Maritim e.V. offers an insight into shipping's past. One of the permanent exhibitions is "Shipping and ships through the ages" and there is also a presentation of the ports of Rostock, the Technical Fleet, the merchant fleet, deep-sea fishing and the navy.

With the "MS Baltica" to Warnemünde
Ride on the historic narrow-gauge railway "Molli" to Kühlungsborn and from there travel onwards to Warnemünde with the steamboat "MS Baltica".
