Riding School
With the Gut Vorder Bollhagen stud farm, the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm has its own riding school with stables that comply with the standards of the German Horseriding Union (FN).
The lessons are given by state certified riding teachers right though to classes M and S on excellent mounts bred at the stud farm. The course is tailored to meet the individual needs of the participants, taking their previous experience into account.
The large riding facility with its beautiful open areas is the ideal place to get the best possible training with one-to-one teaching.
- Riding lessons EUR 30 per hour and person
- Lunge lessons EUR 25 per 30 minutes and person (beginners)
- One-to-one lesson in dressage EUR 50 per hour and person
- Week-long course in dressage (5 x 1 hour) EUR 200 per person
The Gut Vorder Bollhagen stud farm is known far and wide for the high quality of the show horses bred there. The most famous stallion is Cefalo, one of the sons of Caretino, who unites the features of the Holsteiner show jumper in an almost perfect way. His character and his willingness to perform are always impressive, whereby his outstanding rideability has been awarded the best marks. Between the ages of 4 and 6, Cefalo won more than 45 show jumping tests of classes A, L and M and has already achieved a victory in the class S show jumping test.
The show jumping programme of events for beginners and advanced riders takes place on the well-trained horses, some of whom come from the Cefalo bloodline. The course programme is individually discussed in advance with every participant and adjusted to suit ability.
