The first ever mention of Gross Siemen during the 14th century was in 1346. The country estate house in its current form was rebuilt in 1890 and stands as the main house on the old Baroque foundations of the predecessor house. The old estate park with its trees that are up to 2oo years old and the magnificent view of the almost 30-hectare landscape gardens form the setting for the collection of 3500 historic and English roses.

Gut Gorow was part of the Axekow estates until around 1500 and ownership first passed to the von Oertzen family at the beginning of the 16th century. In 1530 Lippold II had the estate converted to a residence fit for the nobility and elevated its status to that of a knight's manor. The main building of the residential courtyard stood roughly on the spot where the preserved country estate house now stands and is still surrounded by the remains of the moat.

Klein Nienhagen was an old manor belonging to the von der Lühe family and was administered from Wendisch Mulsow. Following several changes of ownership, the country estate house was acquired in 1998 by the Glöe family and is operated today as a holiday/horse ranch.

A particular attraction in Hohen Luckow is the estate with its Baroque castle built in the 18th century, its agricultural buildings and the landscape gardens. In the summer months numerous cultural events are staged in the castle's knights hall. Satow Registry Office also conducts wedding ceremonies in the castle upon special request.
